Hi, my name is Serena Sullivan and I am currently a little more than halfway to completing a MS in Course Design and Technology through Walden University. I plan on being completed with the degree program September 2011. I have two years experience in course design, mostly designing technical courses such as hazardous materials handler training while active duty Air Force and more recently, Security+, Network+, A+, and CISSP courses. I am also an experienced technical instructor, currently employed at Pikes Peak Community College as a Computer Information Systems instructor for the Area Vocational Program, teaching high school students.
A website that I put together to highlight a topic, "Teens and Video Games" can be found here: www.helloITworld.com.
This is a course planning document that I created in an Advanced Instructional Design class. The .pdf that is listed here will give the full details: How to Blog Course Plan. To go with this plan I created a short booklet:
This website was designed as a course project that I completed in an Instructional Design course. A copy of the files that were used is here: Website for Walden Class
I have helped design many courses that are considered proprietary, so I cannot share them with you. However, I can list the course names: Security+, Network+, A+, CISSP, Microsoft Office 2007 product training (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and SharePoint).
